Job Summary of Principal Custom Solutions Engineer:

As a Principal Custom Solutions Engineer within our Custom Solutions and Delivery organization, you will lead the strategic direction of operational activities for 5G Enterprise Solutions. Your role will be essential in overseeing complex systems, driving improvement opportunities, and providing expert technical guidance to support teams. You will take charge of end-to-end operational processes, actively shaping the solution roadmap, supporting lifecycle management, and overseeing lab testing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Principal Custom Solutions Engineer:

• Provide technical expertise on complex operational issues, troubleshoot critical system failures, and lead root cause analysis efforts.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
• Analyze operational data to identify performance bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead 5G Solutions lifecycle and lab testing to ensure product efficiency and performance.
• Conduct internal and customer discussions during operational reviews and governance meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications and Experience of Principal Custom Solutions Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 12 years of hands-on experience in supporting wireless 4G / 5G networks.
• Experience in 4G / 5G operations with a solid understanding of ORAN and 3GPP standards.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding of operational systems, processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools for performance monitoring and optimization.
• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams effectively.

Salary:

Compensation: $127,050.00 / Year - $181,500.00 / Year
