Job Summary:

As a Field Technician, you will visit customers’ homes across the country and – in the role of the everyday hero – install or repair TV and smart home technology while providing intelligent, hands-on-assistance within the coected home industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• We are DISH. We have created this position in order to simplify our customers’ lives. Our representatives work closely with customers inside their homes to consult on their smart home needs – everything from Dish Network satellite installations to smart security cameras and lights. If the customer has it within their coected home ecosystem, we help them coect it.
• A service provider who is quick to build rapport with customers can provide outstanding customer experience (CX), gain positive feedback from customers and receive higher payouts for future jobs due to repeat business.
• Work-at-heights – both equipment setup (~20 feet) and ladder work (up to 40 feet)
• We work outdoors year-round in weather that can range from hot summers, rain-filled springs, windy autumns and snowy winters.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license with clear driving record over past three years during which no DUI/DWI convictions occurred; ability to pass physical capacity test (lift up objects weighing up-to seventy pounds).
• The job entails physical labor including lifting equipment/components as well as digging trenches for conduit runs when required by specific installation projects may involve traveling between various locations throughout a given region each day so reliable transportation must be available.. The successful candidate will also need basic hand tools such as screwdrivers (Phillips & Flat) chaellocks pliers adjustable wrenches etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to build an instant rapport with customers by being presentable, polite, friendly, and professional.
• Comfortability working in variable weather conditions at heights above 20 feet.
• Ability to lift seventy pounds alone or greater amounts with assistance regularly throughout the day.
• If you are applying for this role, you must possess a valid driver’s license and have maintained an infraction free driving record over the past three years.

• Potential first year income up-to $64000 ($9100 /year average performance incentive earnings).
